Terms of Service

1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use the Platform. By using AccountShop, you represent that you meet these requirements and that your use complies with all applicable laws and any rules set by the game publishers whose accounts or items you trade.

2 Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• Provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date.
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts to evade limits, bans, or fees.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

3 The Marketplace

AccountShop is a peer-to-peer marketplace that lets users list and purchase digital gaming goods such as accounts, in-game items, currency, and services. We provide the platform, escrow, and dispute tools, but we are not a party to the transactions between buyers and sellers except where we act as escrow agent. Listings, descriptions, and pricing are the responsibility of the sellers who post them.

4 Escrow & Payments

• When a buyer purchases a listing, the agreed amount is held in escrow until delivery is confirmed.
• Buyers have a delivery/review window to confirm the order. If no action is taken within the stated window, funds may auto-release to the seller.
• Either party may open a dispute during the delivery window; see the Dispute Policy.
• Cryptocurrency payments are processed by third-party providers. On-chain transactions are irreversible once confirmed.

5 Credits

Purchases on the Platform are made using AccountShop credits. Credits have no cash value outside the Platform, are not transferable except through Platform transactions, and are non-refundable once purchased, except as described in our Refund Policy or as required by law. Do not purchase more credits than you intend to use.

6 Seller Obligations

• List only goods you own and have the right to sell, with accurate descriptions.
• Deliver within the stated window and provide any access details required to complete the transfer.
• Complete identity verification (KYC) where required before listing or requesting payouts.
• Comply with our Seller Rules and Prohibited Listings policy.

7 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Engage in fraud, chargeback abuse, money laundering, or the sale of stolen goods.
• Move transactions or communications off-platform to evade escrow or fees.
• Post unlawful, infringing, or prohibited content (see Prohibited Listings).
• Harass, threaten, or deceive other users, or manipulate ratings and reviews.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Platform.

8 Disputes Between Users

If a transaction goes wrong, use the on-platform dispute system within the stated window. Our moderation team reviews evidence — including platform chat history — and may issue a full refund, partial refund, or release of escrow funds. Our resolution decisions on escrow disputes are final. Full details are in the Dispute Policy.

9 Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, logos, and software, is owned by AccountShop and protected by intellectual property laws. Game names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only; AccountShop is not affiliated with or endorsed by those publishers. You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a license to host and display it for operating the Platform.

10 Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that listings are accurate or that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AccountShop and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or game accounts/items, arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount of fees you paid to us in the 90 days before the event giving rise to the claim.

12 Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or to comply with law. You may stop using the Platform at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.

13 Governing Law & Changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AccountShop operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date, and your continued use constitutes acceptance.
